There is no doubt gatherings have looked a little different in 2020. And with July 4th right around the corner, families may be looking for alternative ways to celebrate.
Independence Day has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941 with celebration festivities ranging from parades, outdoor concerts, causal family gatherings and of course, fireworks.
While this year, many big displays and large gatherings are limited, folks can still celebrate safety at home and engage in alternative activities. Ben Laws, a Pyro City store manager, talked with the Wyoming Tribune Eagle about the unique Fireworks Safe Shoot Site in Laramie County and provided tips for shooting off fireworks safely.
